Moving in

So you've finally found a place to rent, and someone to rent with. Or, against all odds, the spiralling economy and the flailing jobs market, you've bought a place of your own. You well deserve to throw yourself a party, and you might as well go all out. Show off a little and make your invitations something to be (house) proud about. There are many, many cheap but still elegant ways to go with the invites before you head up the road and spend a fortune on invitation cards. Better this, as well, than the too-common text message.

Copy the blueprint or plans of your new bought place and ask your local copy place to make prints for you on little cards. Write on the other side. Alternatively, show people where you've moved with a map colour photocopied onto a little card. Mark exactly where you live with a punched hole where your house or apartment is. Stamp or write your address and party details on the other side.
